Went to KL Chapel, Jln Sultan last Saturday night to listen to a talk about financial.

After we done for the talk, we heard that there was a culture performance at Petaling Street. At the time we arrived, there was crowded by people. And we can't even make to squeeze ourselves into it. But I still can see a little bit through crowd. I see a bird and someone like caveman doing some dance. Seems weird, and scary. My churchmate told me that was a organizer planning this culture protecting activities. The chairman should be ZHANG JI AN, a radio announcer from AI-FM. During the ending part, one old singer sang CNY song and JI AN was picking up people to dance with her, OMO, cause I was sitting at the front row, I was picked by him. ( They switch the stage so I managed to get a place after the crowd went to another stage) Is too awkward, standing infront everyone and my fake smile was facing the camera and crowd. This is a very inident happened on Saturday.

After listening to his aim for doing this, listening to my churchmate's explaining. I started to feel sad for the old shop along jalan sultan. They need to close their shop due to the MRT construction. Kinda sad, and this is the first time ever I realize how important it is to protect our culture, the historic places especially chinese's culture. Not to say I am so care about chinese' culture, but I also feel like continue the deklamasi sajak culture, pantun and all the culture. Malaysia is a country with culture. And culture is the factor of our Malaysia tourism. If we destroy all the place with culture, then where should the visitor visit if they come to Malaysia. Are you asking them to go museum with only pictures?

I am now regretting on too late to realize about the beauty of the old shop, the beauty of the old time scenario along the street. So I plan to make a visit to Jalan sultan and capture all the historic building, visit the coffee shop or any old time shop.

Hope before Jalan sultan disappear, everyone of us pay a visit to this jalan that gonna say bye to us.

Zoo Negara

This will be a throwback post I guess. It something passed last holiday. So ya, I went to our Malaysia Zoo during holiday with two main purposes. First, I want to try on capture animal photos with my DSLR. Second, since last visit was during my primary school life, so I decided to visit there again. It has been so many years since the last visit to zoo, I kinda forget about some of the animal faces.

In the early morning, it was raining, but praise the lord! He make it stop! The price for one adult ticket had rising after so many year. RM30 for ones with IC, it was quite expensive. First animal that appear infront me was these monkeyssss.

We found out there was a baby monkey. Oh my, it was so tiny. It just my arm long. He was eating a bitter gourd. Why they feed him this. Ewwwww.

This is a pony that only have my height. There were two ponies in the little farm for children. There were also bunnies, goats in that specially designed area for children.

Look this. I think he is sleeping. This owl is sleeping, so cute. :D

Nahhhh. these are the pictures of some. After a long period, the zoo is still as stink as last time. But maybe there was a constuction on going, that area was quite dirty. The glass to keep penguins was so worst, I can see algae growing there. No fish in some of the aqua tank in aquarium. The animals were staying in a dirty cage. Pay for everything inside even a map of the zoo, and the trail. The sad part was there were only 2 orang utan lefts. I remembered that time I visit, I can here them along the way I walk to that area, watching them hanging all over and now there are 2 lefts. The zoo gonna bring the China Panda in, I hope they can speed up their construction. Heard the visitor saying that the last time she visited, the sign board stated there coming soon, but now still the same: COMING SOON.

Anyway, still enjoy seeing so many animals, birds, and fishes. Have fun taking photos in the zoo. Maybe next time I will apply for a volunteer work at the zoo.
